One Penn Plaza is designed in the International Style by architecture firm Kahn & Jacobs. From a steel and concrete base, an aluminum and glass curtain wall rises the height of the massive skyscraper. It is one of the largest office complexes in Manhattan; lower floors contain as much as 85,000 square feet, or nearly the size of a soccer field.
The building has recently undergone major renovations, resulting in a very modern interior. Amenities include direct access to Penn Station’s subway lines and trains, such as Amtrak and the Long Island Rail Road. Other amenities include parking (almost 700 spaces available), restaurants and shops within the building, and striking views in every direction of the city. Current office and retail tenants in the building include Cisco Systems, Citigroup Global Markets, Parsons, Brinkerhoff and Kmart.
