The Beaux Arts office tower at 120 Broadway in Lower Manhattan was completed in 1915. Known as the Equitable Life Building, the tower was designed by Ernest R. Graham, and spans a full block bordered by Broadway and Nassau, Pine and Cedar Streets. Upon completion, 120 Broadway was the largest office building in the world, featuring 1.9 million square feet of space.
