The landmark office building rising at 14 Wall Street in Lower Manhattan was completed in 1912, on the site of the former Gillender Building, which was demolished to make way for a taller structure. 14 Wall Street, also known as the Bankers Trust Company Building, was designed by Trowbridge & Livingstone, with Shreve, Lamb & Harmon bringing an Art Deco addition in 1933. The tower sits across from the New York Stock Exchange and diagonally across from the original headquarters of JPMorgan, and is home to various high-profile office and retail tenants.
