14 Wall Street, Bankers Trust Company Building

The Bankers Trust Company Building is located on the site of the former Gilldener Building. It is articulated with a classical tripartite division, which indicates a defined base, middle and cornice. The exterior is clad in granite, and a colonnade featuring Ionic columns draws inspiration from the nearby Federal Hall. The building culminates in a pyramid-shaped capital.

The lobby was renovated in 2008, as well as common corridors and mechanical components of the building. Other amenities include on-site management, a newsstand, and an Equinox Health Club. Current tenants of the Bankers Trust Company Building include NYU Medical Center, Bank of America, and Sciame Development, as well as the New York office of well-known architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The building is located near the New York Stock Exchange and several major subway lines, including the J, Z, 2 and 3 trains.
