The office building at 770 Broadway in Manhattan’s NoHo district has a long and rich history. It was built in 1906 with a design by D.H. Burnham & Co., and originally housed the Wanamaker department store. The building, which occupies an entire city block along the diagonal thoroughfare in Lower Manhattan, was converted to offices in the late 1950s, after Wanamaker closed its store.
