The facade of the Standard Oil Building, which was constructed as the headquarters of the Standard Oil Company, curves along Broadway in lower Manhattan. It was designed in the Renaissance Revival style. In plan, the 15-story base of the building is laid out in the shape of an H, which allows more daylight to enter the interior of its offices. Above the base, a tower with a pyramid-shaped roof features a colonnade of Ionic columns, which was inspired by the Greek Mausoleum of Maussollos. The famous bronze statue The Charging Bull is located near the entrance to the Standard Oil Building.

Current tenants include Bank of America Securities, Gleason & Mathews, and the Sports Museum of America. Amenities include views of the New York Harbor, a 24/7 attended lobby and concierge, on-site management, high bandwidth telecommunications network, and key card operated elevators. All floors feature operable windows. The Standard Oil Building is located near the Bowling Green station with access to the 4 and 5 trains, and is a short walk from the Staten Island Ferry and Battery Park.
